No, an account isn't required - you can check out as a guest.
Is it safe to use my credit card online at Maria June?
Yes - your online security is our priority. All orders are processed through a secure 256-bit encrypted connection. We do not store any credit card details, and all transactions are safely handled through Payfast.
What payment methods does Maria June accept?
Maria June accepts Visa, MasterCard and EFT payments.
How will I know you received my order?
You’ll receive a confirmation email shortly after placing your order.
What is your return policy?
Bags may be exchanged within 7 days, provided they are in original condition and packaging. Please note that return delivery costs will be at your own expense. We’re happy to offer a refund or exchange once your item is received. Should your bag be faulty, we’ll gladly repair it — however, damages caused by improper care or natural wear and tear are not covered.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
We take pride in the quality of every Maria June bag and will gladly repair any manufacturing faults. Please note that damages caused by improper care (see how to care for leather below) or natural wear and tear are not covered.
To arrange an exchange or repair, simply return your bag to our warehouse. You’ll be responsible for shipping it to us, and we’ll cover the delivery back to you once the repair is complete. Contact us for the return details.

Can I change my shipping address after my order has been placaed?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to redirect orders once they’ve been dispatched. Please ensure that your shipping address is correct and suitable for the estimated delivery timeframe.
What is the cost for delivery?
Enjoy complimentary delivery across South Africa on orders over R2,500. International orders are subject to a fixed shipping rate.
How soon can I receive my Maria June bag?
Allow 2–5 working days for your MARIA JUNE bag to be carefully prepared and shipped.
Can I track my order?
Yes, you will receive a waybill number for online tracking, along with delivery updates via WhatsApp for your convenience.
What happens if the item I want is out of stock?
Handcrafted in limited batches. If your chosen style is out of stock, contact mariajunedesigns@gmail.com for restock updates or similar recommendations.
Can I change or cancel my order?

We’ll gladly accommodate any changes before your order is shipped. Once it has been dispatched, however, we’re unable to make adjustments or process cancellations. Orders cancelled before dispatch will be refunded, with a 10% administration fee deducted to cover processing costs.

At Maria June, we use premium full-grain aniline leather, carefully selected and crafted specifically for handbags. Its firm tannage (or texture) ensures your bag retains its elegant structure and shape over time. As each hide is naturally sourced, it deserves a little extra care to preserve its beauty and longevity. How do I clean the lining of my Maria June bag?
Designed for everyday use, the lining of your Maria June bag is water-resistant, though it is not fully waterproof. To clean, gently wipe the interior with a soft, damp cloth. For light stains, you may use a small amount of mild, unscented soap diluted in warm water. Avoid harsh chemicals or soaking the lining. Allow the bag to air dry completely before use to maintain its shape and prevent moisture damage.
